Alder Lake Cranberry was
established in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin in 1946. It is
one of 5 marshes that are located on the north shore of Little
Trout Lake. The cranberry growing area is to the west of Hwy
51on the southern border of Manitowish Waters. There are two
marshes on Alder Lake Rd. and three on Cranberry Blvd. We
are the one right in the middle at 381 Cranberry Blvd.
Alder Lake Cranberry is family owned and
presently run by the third generation of the Indermuehle family.
We currently sell the majority of our crop to Northland Cranberries
of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. In addition we sell fresh
fruit quality cranberries by the 16 oz bag or bulk in bags
or boxes from 3 pounds to 30 pounds from Mid September through
Late October from our warehouse.
The Alder Lake Cranberry Gift Shop will operate the Boulder Junction
Shop year round and the Harvest Gift Shop in the warehouse will be
open as usual September 20 through October 20.
We feature a wide array of cranberry specialty items. We have
a large selection of cranberry cookbooks, cranberry scented
and colored candles, gifts and clothing all featuring cranberry
designs. Cranberry glass by several different companies, The
traditional cranberry glass made by adding gold as the glass
is formed, and cut cranberry glass made by artisans in Europe.
 In
addition to fresh cranberries we also carry an extensive line
of cranberry food items, from salsas, jams, juice, and candies
to cake mixes, muffins, breads and tea, and many more items
to numerous to mention.
